Tim is an international strategist, innovator, and design educator, specializing in thought-partnership, collaboration, and coaching. Throughout his 25 years of experience, his goal has always been to change the way people think about problem solving and help them adopt new methods to better understand their context, their co-workers, and imagine new worlds yet-to-be. 

Tim focuses on education through dialogue and reflective practice. He has helped clients develop major innovation functions and taught innovation methods and leadership approaches across North America, Australia, and Asia. He has spoken at international design and education conferences in the UK, Australia, China, and India, including for the Design Management Institute (DMI), Service Design Australia, and Redesigning Design Education in China.

As a practicing designer, he also directs projects as an international City Innovation Coach with Bloomberg Philanthropies where he guides municipal leadership teams through the innovation process, building capabilities and delivering transformational outcomes for cities and their residents.
